BGMI has been consistently providing gameplay updates since its re-launch in late May 2023, and the developers are now preparing for the upcoming patch, BGMI 2.9 Update Release date, which is expected to arrive in the game in the near future, bringing with it a substantial amount of new content and optimization.
If you’re new to BGMI, most of the new game features and changes coming with the 2.9 patch are based on what was already available in the 2.9 PUBG mobile version. Plus, the “Ranveer Singh” collaboration is finally coming to BGMI with the next patch.

It looks like the new version of BGMI is gonna be out by December 1, 2023. But don’t worry, you can still get the patch before then. KRAFTON hasn’t announced the exact release date yet. BGMI New Updates & Features
PUBG Mobile India’s new version has a lot of content that’s straight out of the 2.9 game, like the Frozen Kingdom mode and some old-school updates. For instance, the theme of BGMI is going to be “Ice& Snow festival”, which is similar to the Frost Festival from 2.9. Not only that, but the winter theme is gonna be there too, and we’ve also got the much-awaited “Ranveer Singh” collaboration coming up.

Ranveer Singh Collaboration
Krafton India, the developer of BGMI, has just released a new update to the game, and it’s got a new playable character in the form of Bollywood star Ranveer Singh. He’s been appointed as the brand ambassador for BGMI.
In addition to the new content, BGMI 2.9 Update also brings the following updates: Ranveer Singh Discovery Event The new Ranveer Singh Crate A Play and Win event where you can win 2 new 3D avatars RS Dark Stealth & RS Swaggy baba. Krafton said that the new character skins are meant to capture the essence of the star.
Ranveer Singh Discovery is a point-based event in which you can earn points by participating in matches in the Classic mode. The Classic mode has 50 stages and allows you to collect gifts such as Christmas trees, parachutes, etc. The Ranveer Singh Discovery event will begin on the 1st of December, 2023, and will end on the 5th of January, 2024. In the Classic mode, you have to collect 100 points in order to unlock the stage. Once you get to level 50, you can collect up to 5000 points.
