OnePlus 12 will be launched on December 5 in China. The launch has been pushed up a bit, as the phone was initially expected to be launched on December 4 at the company’s 10-year anniversary event. The OnePlus 12 will be the successor to the company’s current flagship model. The OnePlus 11 5G was launched in February of this year. The company has already announced some of the key specifications of the OnePlus 12. The phone’s design and color options have also been made public. Now, it looks like OnePlus may have accidentally announced the global and Indian launch dates for the OnePlus 12.
OnePlus 12 Expected Launch Date
The official OnePlus website in the UK, US, and India has listed the OnePlus 12. It doesn’t say when it’s coming out, but it’s promoting a free lottery to win the new flagship phone. If you sign up for the launch of the phone using your email IDs, you’ll be in the race to win it through a random draw.
The Terms and Conditions of this contest state that the contest window runs from the 27th of November 2023 to the 23rd of January 2024, as outlined on the UK website. The information on the India website confirms that the contest closes a day prior to the launch date, however, the contest window is no longer mentioned on the India website. However, it can be assumed that the OnePlus 12 will launch worldwide and in India simultaneously on the 24th of January 2024.

It has been confirmed that the Smartphone will be equipped with the latest generation of the Snapdragon 8 Generation 3 System-On-Chip (SoC).
OnePlus 12 is expected to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will have a 6.70 inch touchscreen display with a QHD+ resolution and 525 pixels per inch (ppi) density. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass. It comes with 16 GB of RAM. The phone is expected to run Android 14. The battery capacity of the smartphone is 5400mAh with non-removable cells. The phone supports Super VOOC Fast Charging.
What about the cameras?
The OnePlus 12 is said to have a triple camera setup, with a 64MP primary camera, 50MP secondary camera, and 50MP front camera. It is also said to have a single front camera for selfies, with a 32MP primary camera.
It’s rumoured that it’ll come in Eternal Green or Titan Black. It’s IP68, which means it can handle dust and water.
